Set Construction Department

We have been dealing with set construction for feature and TV films (including TV series, teleplays, commercials, events and exhibitions) for over 50 years. We turn ideas and designs of set designers and architects into real and credible backgrounds on sets. Our knowledge and experience enable us to complete all entrusted projects in a comprehensive, professional, reliable and timely manner. We employ Set Construction Managers (experienced professionals); organisers of works related to construction; craftsmen of various specialisations: carpenters, painters, decorators, artists, stucco-workers, upholsterers, construction workers, mechanics. Set elements are prepared in our workshops, which occupy over 900 m2.

The following are available in our department:

• 2 sound stages (600 m2 each), working height: 8.5 m (A/C)
• TV studios: 450 m2, height: 4.5 m; and 220 m2, height: 5.8 m
• 2 casting studios x 100 m2
• Offices of over 1000 m2 in area, including a conference room
• Storage of 500 m2 in area

All stages and studios have their own back-up facilities (make-up rooms, dressing rooms, green room, warehouse for costumes, prop rooms). Buildings where sound stages and studios are located are insured against fire and other acts of God.

We ensure the following within the scope of project completion on our stages:

• Professional set construction services provided by our employees
• Free-of-charge duty of fire-fighting service while filming
• Insurance of sets constructed by our employees up to the aggregate amount of 250 thousand PLN
• Car park directly in front of the stage for technical and passenger cars

In summer (May-September), there is a summer pub garden for over 20 people in front of the sound stage in green areas.
